A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building Islamic infrastructure for underserved Muslim communities - starting in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
A mosque is not just a building. It is the spiritual nervous system of a community.
A permanent, dignified place for five daily prayers, Jumu'ah, and Eid - rooted in Quran and Sunnah.
Quran classes, Islamic studies, and Arabic education for children and adults who have had nowhere to learn.
A meeting place for Muslim families - new and lifelong - to build real brotherhood and sisterhood where none existed before.
A home for those who have just entered Islam and need guidance, belonging, and a community to grow in their deen.
The Mutah Beale Foundation exists to build Islamic infrastructure in underserved Muslim communities - places where the ummah is present but the resources are not.
We believe every Muslim community deserves a permanent, dignified place to worship - a masjid that serves as the spiritual anchor of family, education, and community life.
Our first project is the Mayagüez Masjid in Puerto Rico. It will not be the last.
"The mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, perform As-Salat, and give Zakat, and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance."
Quran 9:18
Every project we build is grounded in authentic Islamic principles. We build not for show, but for worship - in the way that pleases Allah.
We go where the ummah needs us most. Underserved communities without proper Islamic infrastructure are our priority.
Every dollar donated is accounted for. We will publish annual financial reports, share construction updates, and are accountable to our donors and to Allah.
We build for eternity. Every structure we raise is designed to generate continuous reward for its builders and donors long after they leave this world.
The Mayagüez Masjid is just the beginning. Our vision is a network of thriving Muslim communities across underserved regions.
Our masjids are welcoming to all Muslims regardless of background, madhab, or origin - and open to non-Muslims curious about Islam.
Dedicated individuals committed to building a legacy that outlasts all of us.
Full board information will be published upon completion of governance setup. Questions? Contact us.

The Mutah Beale Foundation's long-term vision is a network of thriving masjids and Islamic centers across underserved communities in the Caribbean, Latin America, and beyond - places where Muslims have been living without the infrastructure to fully practice and pass on their deen.
When the Mayagüez Masjid opens, it becomes proof that this is possible. And then we build the next one. And the one after that. Every prayer, every child taught, every soul guided - that is the compounding reward of this work.
